ZACK SAVAGE was forged in the fires of L.A.’s Book Shop, when an observant teacher noted his star pupils’ resemblance to two 90’s T.V. stars. Art director TOMMY CANNON (Zack Morris) is the troublemaker who breaks the rules, with an eye-popping street aesthetic and love like bad medicine. Copywriter NIK FRANK-LEHRER (Fred Savage) is the cherubic boy next door, whose divine word-smithery wins the hearts, minds, and expendable income of millions. Now, with a One Show award under their belts and eternal flame in their hearts, these lost boys are ready to change advertising forever. They’re blowin’ up, like they thought they would. Just call the crib… same number, same hood.

TOMMY CANNON

Tommy didn’t choose art direction, it chose him. His thirst for creative knowledge led him into several fields: graphic design, photography, web development, film production, cinematography, marketing, and music. But the common threads have always been his love of art and relentless perfectionism. In design, web development, and marketing, Tommy has worked on both the service and client side. His camera work can be regularly seen in T.V. commercials and music videos. His photography has been featured in shows across L.A. With such a variety of skills, he realized he had two good options: start a one-man circus or become an art director. He decided to focus on his ad portfolio and enrolled in the Book Shop. There, he won a One Show award with future Zack Savage teammate Nik Frank-Lehrer. Tommy’s specialized set of skills bring a unique perspective and insight to any project he undertakes.

NIK FRANK-LEHRER

NIK FRANK-LEHRER

Nik, copywriter, has been writing in one form or another since he was a teenager. After developing his craft at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, he studied prose and screenwriting at the University of Michigan. He moved to L.A. and wrote for Lifetime Television, MTV, and Mar Vista Entertainment. After seeing his first screenplay, ADOPTING TERROR, produced, he turned his attention to advertising. He wrote web and product copy for a tech start-up, Honest Label Foods, as well as an art and design column for Examiner.com. In the meantime, he developed his portfolio at the Book Shop and won a One Show award with art director Tommy Cannon. With a diverse range of interests and experiences, Frank-Lehrer brings wit, insight, and a love for research—a love, seriously, it’s almost disgusting—to any project he undertakes.
